A boat trip is really merry and absolutly beautiful… A day-trip to the nearby “Spreewald” should absolutely be a part of your sightseeing tours while your vacation at our lakeside holiday park. As a consequence of the last ice age, a finely arranged network of water arms has been developed in the nearby area called “Spreewald”. You can discover this unique natural landscape during a boat trip. The touristic centers “Lübben”, “Lübbenau” and “Burg” and the small “Spreewald”-villages also have their very special attractiveness. Last but not least you should absolutely try one of the genuine pickled gherkins, a local produce called “Spreewaldgurken”.

Berlin, Berlin - we're going to Berlin. By car or train you reach germanys capital city from Wendisch Rietz in round about one hour. Amongst other things the metropolis lures with its rich culture and famous objects of interest. Go for a stroll along the lime tree alley “Unter den Linden” to brandenburger gate. Only a stone's throw form there you'll find Berlins Reichstag (the traditionel seat of the german government), which can be visited from the inside as well. Berlin offers a multiplicity of museums, as for example the Pergamon- or the Bodemuseum, which invites to discover important historical works. A piece of history of the recent past is also reflected by some residues of the “Berlin Wall” or at the legendary border crossing “Checkpoint Charlie”. Also a special experience is surely a visit of the “Europa Center” and a walk along the Ku'damm, which invites with its many shops to a vast shopping stroll. Subsequently, you can relax when visiting the “Zoologischer Garten”, Berlins city center zoo.

The “Alte Fritz” (former King of Prussia) awaits you in the county state capital city of Potsdam - the city of palaces and gardens. Be enchanced by the charm and flair of the royal pleasure palace and the appendant gardens of Sanssoucci. Additionally you may visit the “Holländisches Viertel” (Potsdams dutch quarter, erected between 1733 - 1740) at the young and lively old part of Potsdam with its many small but notable shops. Historical places like the mystical “Glienicker Brücke” (Potsdam Bridge) or the royal palace Cecilienhof, where the “Potsdamer Abkommen” (Potsdam Agreement) were signed, are contemporary witnesses of pieces of german history. In each case an attendance at the “Filmpark Babelsberg” (historical german film-studio facility) has to be a part of your sightseeing program.

“August der Starke” (August the strong, the former King of saxony) sits highly enthroned on steed near the Elbe river bank in the heart of the baroque art and culture metropolis Dresden. The Saxonian county state capital lures with an abundance of objects of interest. Here you expect the world-famous “Semperoper” (historical opera house), beside it there's the “Dresdner Zwinger” (baroque building) and the palace as well as the redeveloped “Frauenkirche” (historical church). Dresden, a romantic city with a breath-robbing scenery. Museums and exhibitions of world-historical importance - where do we begin, where do we end? “Grünes Gewölbe”, “Gemäldegalerie” (picture gallery), “Meissner Porzellansammlung” (porcelain collections of Meissen) - and much much more - so please decide for yourself, which exhibition deserves your closer attention. After so much art benefits the “Brühlsche Terrasse” (well known terrace place near the Elbe) offers an appropriate ambiance for relaxation with a cup of coffee.
